Volunteers keep us on the road!

We have 150 volunteers (at last count) in our 3 shires, who provide medical transport in their own vehicles to our clients.

Without the generosity of our volunteers we couldn’t provide the services needed in our growing communities.

If you like driving, and have a roadworthy vehicle that will comfortably transport a frail or disabled person, you may want to try volunteering for Tweed Byron & Ballina Community Transport - contact the office 

We reimburse volunteers a kilometre rate of around 57c per km to cover petrol costs and towards their expenses assisting our clients.
