Tweed Byron & Ballina Community Transport

Tweed Byron & Ballina Community Transport Inc (TBBCT) is a non-profit community

organisation, established in 1987. We provide assistance to those affected by frailty,

disability, or disadvantage and unable to access public or private transport to

medical appointments, or shopping.

We are primarily funded by the Department of Ageing Disability & Home Care through

the Home & Community Care (HACC) Program.  This funding is administered by the

NSW Ministry of Transport. We also receive funding from NSW Health for

health-related transport, and grants from the NSW Ministry of Transport.

We rely on Community Volunteers for assistance providing individual transport to

medical appointments, and for other roles in our organisation.

If you would like information about becoming a member of our valuable community

of Volunteers,  see the Volunteers page.
